“Of course, if I was one of them, these people that you just assume are your enemies, what would I do? There would be no balloon so I would draw them out to a really secluded place, like a cave or some underbrush, a good place for a trap… an ambush. And when your friends got there a bunch of my people would be waiting for them. Then they would use them to trade for me. I guess it’s a good thing I’m not one of them, huh? You guys got any milk?”

Perfect, flawless, evil, hilarious, manipulative, brilliant, fierce, heartbreaking, etc.

I love when Michael Emerson said he plays Ben Linus like he’s in a comedy but he’s the only person who knows he’s in a comedy.

Favorite John Locke scene, asked by complexgirl.

John Locke will forever be the most heartbreaking character on television to me. I loved him from the pilot, and other than Matt Saracen, no character ever made me cry quite as much. There is possibly nothing more heartbreaking than when it was  revealed that his last thought was “Why?”  Poor, poor John Locke.

I can’t think about the scene above without feeling my heart break into a million pieces. John Locke was probably the most tragic character on the show. He came from nothing, made himself great, then lost everything only to see his life taken away from him, Even his death didn’t belong to him.
